What is addon domain?

An addon domain is a domain name that that points to a subdirectory within your hosting account.  It’s can be use to host more than one domain name on the same server/hosting, sometimes on the same IP. The addon domain will look completely independent to the visitors.

How to addon domain?

JustHost offers unlimited addon domains with all of it’s plans. If you want to addon a domain to your justhost hosting account please follow these steps:

1) Make sure the name servers of  your domain are pointing to JustHost name servers as following:

NS1: ns1.pipedns.com
NS2: ns2.pipedns.com
NS3: ns3.pipedns.com

2) Login to your JustHost cPanel account and select ‘Addon Domains‘ under the ‘Domains’ section. And then, complete the form as follows:

New Domain Name: the domain you wish to add
Subdomain/FTP Username: Whatever you put in the this field will be the folder that is created under your primary account. It will also be the default username for mail and FTP.
Password: your password

The change in nameservers may take up to 48 hours.
